About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Associated Traffic AG. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the seamless flow of cargo from origin to destination, ensuring that all logistical operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cargo Coordination: Coordinate the movement of cargo from origin to destination, ensuring that all logistical operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Transportation Planning: Verify and evaluate the technical suitability of proposed transportation methods, and review and implement action plans accordingly.
  • Logistical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge on solutions and logistics industry, and attend and chair project progress meetings to discuss forthcoming shipping operations and logistical planning.
  • Staff Management: Manage, oversee, and audit staff, sub-contractors, and their interface, ensuring that all project job files are managed and controlled effectively.
  • Commercial and Technical Offers: Manage and prepare commercial and technical offers for internal and external customers, ensuring that all project-specific working procedures are developed and agreed upon.
  • Shipping Plan Management: Ensure that project-approved shipping plans are obtained for all transportation and freight expenditure ahead of actual movements, in accordance with pre-set criteria.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of transport and freight forwarding industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the logistics industry and project cargo transportation.
  • Education: Higher education in economy, marketing, finance, management, logistics, or transport.
  • Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish, with strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Teamwork: Good team-working competences, with strategic thinking, proactivity, and responsibility.
