AsstrA is seeking to enhance its ambitious international team.
Currently, we are in search of a Logistics Project Coordinator in our Madrid office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure a smooth cargo flow from the contractual origin to the final destination;
- Assess and confirm the technical appropriateness of the proposed transportation methods;
- Analyze and implement action plans based on the outlined conditions;
- Provide expert knowledge across logistics solutions and industry standards;
- Lead project progress meetings at various locations to discuss upcoming shipping operations and logistical strategies;
- Oversee and audit staff and subcontractors as necessary;
- Act as the primary liaison for all cargo movements and communicate with clients;
- Prepare and manage commercial and technical proposals for clients;
- Ensure that all transportation and freight expenditures align with the approved shipping plan prior to actual movements;
- Collaborate to develop project-specific operational procedures;
- Control and audit all project documentation;
- Identify and introduce new clients and business opportunities to AsstrA;
- Engage in pricing and rate negotiations with service providers and subcontractors as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- In-depth knowledge of the transport and freight forwarding sector;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within logistics and project cargo transportation;
- Higher education in economics, marketing, finance, management, logistics, or transport;
- Fluency in English and Spanish;
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills;
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities;
- Strategic mindset, proactive approach, and accountability;
- Strong team collaboration skills.
