ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Scentmate is an emerging fragrance company, backed by DSM-Firmenich, focused on catering to the needs of small and medium enterprises. We provide access to high-quality ingredients, innovations, and compliance solutions, dedicated to simplifying the process for manufacturers, entrepreneurial brands, and startups to discover the ideal fragrance for their products efficiently.

Your key responsibilities

Cultivate a successful working relationship with key SME client contacts in the DACH market. Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities in alignment with Scentmate's sales strategy. Position Scentmate as the essential partner for all client fragrance briefs. Strengthen relationships within client organizations, enhancing Scentmate's visibility and promoting it as a reliable strategic solution provider. Recognize business opportunities, decision-making factors, and success criteria, and develop an action plan in response to a dynamic market environment. Lead and coordinate projects with internal teams and clients, both proactively and reactively. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance Scentmate's value proposition by gathering, analyzing, and transforming client feedback into actionable insights. Master the use of our tools to optimize internal resources and maximize customer lifetime value.

You should have

A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the perfumery or related sectors (personal care & household industry) in a customer management capacity. Proficiency in English and German; additional languages are advantageous. A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. Willingness to travel for client visits. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly adapt to digital tools. An energetic, self-motivated team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for customer engagement. An agile mindset to collaborate with internal teams and present projects that deliver value to our clients.
