About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Team Leader to join our People & Culture Operations team in Spain. As a key member of our EMEA operations hub, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations, fostering team development, and driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and deliver a proactive, customer-centric operations function in line with business needs and Morningstar's people philosophies.
  • Transform, improve, and build effective HR processes and policies in compliance with local laws.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop your team, providing coaching and consulting on transforming work, evaluating processes for opportunities for automation or streamlining.
  • Partner with the global operations team on key initiatives while representing local needs, defining and measuring benchmarks for success in HR operations, and reporting on progress.
  • Provide support as needed with day-to-day operational requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, including managing day-to-day activities and implementing process improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, with experience in coaching and performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and enhance HR processes, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • In-depth understanding of HR best practices and relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in Spain; knowledge of other locations is a plus.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
