Research FocusOur research focuses on the regulation of alternative splicing, a crucial process that allows the production of different messenger RNAs and proteins from a single gene. This process plays a vital role in controlling gene expression and is essential for understanding the development of many diseases, including cancer.
Project OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to our project on the characterization of molecular mechanisms of alternative splicing regulation by small molecule modulators of RNA splicing. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to investigate the role of small molecule inhibitors of spliceosome assembly in generating alterations in RNA processing in cancer cells.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the characterization of molecular mechanisms of alternative splicing regulation by small molecule modulators of RNA splicing
- Generate neoantigens and characterize their potential use in immunotherapy
- Collaborate closely with our team to investigate the role of small molecule inhibitors of spliceosome assembly
- PhD in Molecular Biology
- Proven experience in Molecular Biology and Gene Regulation
- Computational Biology Skills (desirable)
- Experience with RNA analysis (desirable)
- Experience with RNA and Disease (desirable)
