Purpose of the Role

The ideal candidate will be an energetic sales professional who utilizes data-driven insights to inform decisions while emphasizing both efficiency and volume. This position centers on business development initiatives aimed at optimizing the revenue potential of RateGain's suite of SaaS products. The role also requires the identification and cultivation of new business prospects, delivering a cohesive approach to the business development framework.
Key Responsibilities Formulate and implement the go-to-market strategy for the Benelux and Nordics regions. Target sales efforts towards individual hotels or small hotel collections (fewer than 20 properties). Generate leads through proactive outreach, including cold calls, social media engagement, industry networking, and various online platforms. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently nurture it. Identify, develop, and finalize sales opportunities for RateGain's SaaS solutions within the hospitality sector, with a focus on digital marketing. Meet and exceed assigned sales targets. Conduct market visits for in-person meetings and product demonstrations, and participate in industry events and fairs. Ensure effective collaboration across departments for seamless onboarding of newly acquired customers. Support the market leader in marketing initiatives, including B2B marketing, webinars, trade show involvement, and lead generation. Required Competencies Proven track record in technology sales, particularly within the SaaS travel industry. Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous. Ideally, possess an established network of contacts within the hotel industry. Strong knowledge of the Benelux and Nordics hotel market, including key players, influencers, and associations. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a focus on cold calling and acquiring new customers. History of exceeding performance targets set by the company. Experience in managing new business, add-on sales, and renewal channels. Strong affinity for technology sales, with the ability to articulate business value derived from technical solutions. Demonstrated experience in delivering professional services and managing client projects. Deep empathy for customers and a passion for driving revenue and growth. Comprehensive understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. Capacity to function as a key member of the sales management and leadership teams. Self-driven, independent thinker, diligent worker, thought leader, and possesses high integrity.
