We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Claire's Inc.
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Providing a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers by demonstrating products, answering queries, and processing store deliveries.
- Ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers by maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Assisting with visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions to drive sales and meet business objectives.
- Providing ear piercing services to customers, with full training provided.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Some high school education or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and the ability to provide a high level of service to our customers.
- Mathematical skills, including the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
- The ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
- The ability to bend, stoop, and reach while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
