About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Claire's Inc. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and promoting products.
- Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
- Demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using your product knowledge.
- Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
- Provide ear piercing services (you will receive full training).
- Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Some high school education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- A sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
- The ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
- The ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- The ability to bend, stoop, extend reach, climb ladders, and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
- The ability to operate a POS system.
