About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager for our production plant in Reus, Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing technical and human resources to guarantee the safety, compliance, reliability, and capability of manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the team and line manager to manage and develop technical and human resources.
- Identify solutions for improving equipment and provide technical expertise on mechanical and materials issues.
- Manage mechanical and electrical maintenance resources, including stocks of spare parts and tooling.
- Audit the status of lines and manage legal project outsourcing.
Requirements
- FPII or Higher Cycle in Mechanics or similar.
- Automation and industrial robotics experience.
- Development of mechanical projects and machining production experience.
- Design in mechanical manufacturing experience.
- More than 3 years of experience in a position of responsibility in front of Maintenance, Engineering, or Technical Development departments.
Skills and Competences
- Office package, especially Excel and Word (intermediate level).
- Safety and Prevention knowledge.
- English medium/high level.
- High knowledge of the production system.
- Medium level computer skills.
- Ability to acquire knowledge of plant equipment and its operation.
- Social and leadership skills.
- Mechanical design skills (preferably solidworks).
- Knowledge in PLCs (valuable).
- Electronics and electricity knowledge.
- Active listening and critical thinking skills.
- Oral and written expression skills.
- Identifying and solving complex problems.
- Decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of process and product quality control.
- Inductive and deductive reasoning skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Job Security Functions and Responsibilities according to document R-PP-03.01.
- Information on the risks in the workplace according to the Risk Assessment document.
