We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager in Software Development to join our team at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Gruppe. As a key member of our Instrumentation Development Chapter, you will play a crucial role in leading a talented software team to develop cutting-edge instrument software assets that will revolutionize the field of diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a software team to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Coaching and guiding team members through their career development.
- Defining and evaluating employee objectives and performance review process.
- Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring agile delivery process is followed and measuring delivery.
- Working closely with Product Management and other stakeholders to ensure excellent software solutions.
- Navigating complex corporate environments and influencing stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a software team lead or manager, preferably in the medical device or diagnostics industry.
- Strong expertise in software development applying Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
- Good coaching skills.
- Experience managing external partners.
