Job Title: Compliance Researcher (Portuguese Speaker)

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Researcher to join our team at Control Risks. As a Compliance Researcher, you will play a critical role in conducting media and database research to identify reputational and criminal issues, as well as making sense of complex corporate structures and identifying possible political and sanctions exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology
  • Analyse search results within the context of the project and the country
  • Distil conclusions and identify indirect connections from research findings
  • Draft concise and well-structured reports
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a similar role
  • Education to degree level or similar experience
  • Full fluency in English and Portuguese
  • Excellent research and writing skills in English
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to tight deadlines
  • Ability to summarise large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner
