At Control Risks, we are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our dedicated team, VANTAGE. As a Compliance Due Diligence Researcher, you will play a critical role in assessing our clients' counterparties, identifying potential reputational and other risks, and providing concise reports within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth media and database research using complex search criteria and a strict methodology.
- Analyze search results within the context of the project and the country, distilling conclusions and identifying indirect connections.
- Draft reports that effectively communicate complex information.
- Knowledge of research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives, as well as research in the general internet.
- Demonstrated professional experience preferred.
- Education to degree level or similar experience.
- Full fluency in English.
- Full fluency in one of the following (required): Portuguese.
- Full fluency in one of the following (preferred): Spanish and another European language.
- Demonstrated excellence in research and writing in English.
- Proven ability in the use of Microsoft Office applications or equivalents.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner.
- Effective communication of complex topics verbally and in writing.
