Join ERM's M&A Team as a Junior Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior consultant to support our M&A team in Iberia. As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of projects, including ESG management consultancy, advisory, and due diligence covering decarbonization, EHS, climate risk, and social/human rights aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct environmental, health, and safety (EHS) audits to support mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance audits, and supply chain audit programs.
  • Audit environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues to help companies and corporations identify reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
  • Support project managers in requested activities such as research, writing reports, proposal preparation, and delivering multiple project tasks or components.
  • Work on proposals and deliverables related to EHS and ESG due diligence.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in EHS (HSE) due diligence and experience or interest in developing experience in sustainability disciplines (ESG) as a consultant.
  • A Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of English (C1) is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred Portuguese).
  • Good knowledge of Spanish Environmental and EHS legislation. Knowledge of international EHS standards will be considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
