Job Summary

Control Risks is seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our Compliance Due Diligence team. As a Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting media and database research, analyzing search results, and distilling conclusions to identify indirect connections from research findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology
  • Analyze search results within the context of the project and the country
  • Identify and distill conclusions from research findings, highlighting indirect connections
  • Draft high-quality reports
Requirements
  • Proven experience in research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a similar role
  • Education to degree level or similar experience
  • Full fluency in English
  • Full fluency in Portuguese (required)
  • Full fluency in Spanish and another European language (preferred)
  • Excellent research and writing skills in English
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications or equivalents
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
