Researcher (Fluent Portuguese) - Compliance Due Diligence

Control Risks is seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our Compliance Due Diligence team. As a Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting media and database research, analyzing search results, and distilling conclusions to identify indirect connections from research findings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology
- Analyze search results within the context of the project and the country
- Identify and distill conclusions from research findings, highlighting indirect connections
- Draft high-quality reports
- Proven experience in research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives
- Demonstrated professional experience in a similar role
- Education to degree level or similar experience
- Full fluency in English
- Full fluency in Portuguese (required)
- Full fluency in Spanish and another European language (preferred)
- Excellent research and writing skills in English
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications or equivalents
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
