Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ethics and Compliance Manager to join our team at Lear Corporation. This role will be responsible for investigating ethics and compliance concerns, developing and implementing ethics and compliance training for the region, and promoting a strong culture of integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigations and Compliance: Investigate ethics and compliance concerns, communicate investigation outcomes, as appropriate, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Training and Development: Lead, where appropriate, and support the enhancement of Lear's Ethics & Compliance program through training, communication, and collaboration with key stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Internal Audit, Legal, HR).
- Compliance Risk Management: In partnership with Lear Audit Services review compliance data to identify potential risk areas for audit review.
- Reporting and Analytics: Using data analytics and relevant compliance risks, prepare materials for presentation to the European leadership team and functional leaders, as appropriate.
- Process Improvement: Support the improvement, and development of self-service reporting tools/capabilities working in collaboration with business and IT teams.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research and analysis of findings related to existing and new legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Communication and Thought Leadership: Draft internal memorandum and summaries on research findings and present findings to leadership. Provide thought leadership, at all levels of the organization, around compliance excellence and reputation of the organization.
- Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain open lines of communication, internally and externally, to effectively deliver department objectives and services.
Requirements:
- Language Skills: Full fluency in English and at least one more major European language (or Arabic) - any additional language would be a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal, audit or comparable compliance experience.
- Education: University degree in Law or Economics Master Degree in Law or Economics would be a plus.
- Teamwork and Communication: Experience working with a global team, outstanding analytical and communications (written and verbal) skills, and exercises good business judgment.
- Travel: Ability to travel around 40% of the time within the region for investigations and training.
