Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Food Technologist to join our Custom Culinary team in Valls, Spain. As a Food Technologist, you will play a key role in the development of new snack products and solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the growth of our product range and customer base through R&D activities and responsibilities.
- Develop new products for our targeted customers, including snack substrates, tortilla's, coated nuts, rice cakes, extruded snacks, and crackers.
- Act as the technical contact for our snack customers in Continental Europe, providing technical support and guidance.
- Create innovative seasoning and coating systems for snack products.
- Look for innovative raw materials and systems to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct raw material evaluations to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Food Technology or equivalent by proven experience.
- Relevant experience in the food industry, with a focus on snack development and innovation.
- Fluent in English, with Spanish or Dutch language skills a plus.
- Project Management skills, with experience in development and application of seasonings.
- Passionate about food and customer focus, with strong team player and independent work skills.
- Self-confident and enthusiastic in presenting product concepts to customers.
- Creative, hands-on, accurate, and well-organized, with flexibility to travel within Europe to support customers.
