HSE Leader Job Description

Robert Walters Spain is seeking a highly skilled HSE Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments of jobs, products, processes, facilities, investments, and changes to identify potential environmental risks and impacts.
  • Develop and implement measures to minimize or eliminate environmental risks and impacts.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and occupational diseases, and propose measures to reduce their occurrence.
  • Participate in the review and improvement of the Prevention and Environment System documentation.
  • Conduct HSE training and information sessions for site personnel.
  • Review and participate in the Emergency Plan, conduct emergency drills, and monitor identified improvements.
  • Manage the collection and reporting of HSE KPIs, including waste management, water, energy, accidents, and incidents.
  • Perform technical tasks associated with environmental vectors, such as waste management, atmospheric measurements, and wastewater.
  • Make declarations to the administration, including waste declarations and other environmental controls.
  • Participate in HS Committees and internal, external, and corporate audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Health & Safety, Chemistry, or Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention with specialties in Occupational Safety, Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Psychosociology.
  • Professional experience of up to 5 years in a similar position, with a minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience in HSE audits, GMP environments, and ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management courses.
Skills and Capabilities:
  • Ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply knowledge to solve technical problems.
