Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Lead to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
  • Customer Service: Anticipate and address guests' service needs, respond to guest inquiries and concerns, and provide solutions to resolve issues.
  • Communication: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Administrative Tasks: Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift, balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Work Experience: At least 1-year related work experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
