About the Role

Aimen Centro Tecnológico is seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our Advanced Composites Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving research and development projects in automated manufacturing of polymer composites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute research projects on automated manufacturing of polymer composites, including work plan definition, experimental test control, and results analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest state-of-the-art technologies related to composites and apply this knowledge to our research projects.
  • Participate in scientific events, conferences, and dissemination activities to share our research findings and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative ideas and technical approaches for national and European research project proposals.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in research and development in composites manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge and specialization in polymer composites, with a strong understanding of automated manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced level of MS Office software and auxiliary management tools.
  • Excellent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Availability to travel and willingness to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of automated manufacturing processes, such as Automated Fiber Placement (AFP), Automated Tape Laying (ATL), or Robotized Additive Manufacturing.
  • Composites testing and quality control expertise.
  • Experience with research project management and coordination.
  • Team-working abilities and high autonomy level.
