We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our agile and dynamic Production Team at Wärtsilä. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for machining and deburring components to specification, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.

• Set-up and basic care of machine tooling
• Machining of components to specification
• CNC machine programming and editing
• Tooling and fixture set-up
• Use of measuring equipment
• Quality checking own work
• Use of engineering machinery (i.e., pillar drills, hand tools, bandsaw, etc.)
• Deburring
• Use of overhead cranes
• Communicate with all ops teams to ensure proactive actions are taken to meet OTIF
• Continuous improvement relating to process and procedures

• CNC machining knowledge
• Experience working with engineering drawings
