Are you seeking a VIE opportunity and have a passion for Sustainability? This role may be for you.

You will become a part of the Environmental Finance team in Madrid, which comprises experts with profound knowledge in social and ecological finance matters. The team supports all business divisions of the bank, along with the Coverage Department, in initiating and executing sustainable finance transactions (including those with significant social and environmental aspects such as ESG advisory, green and social bonds, sustainability-linked finance products, or impact investments). You will collaborate closely with the Iberia Environmental Finance Originator.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Establishing strong relationships with various Business Lines and the clients' Senior Bankers to identify and create business opportunities;

- Crafting customized solutions and presenting the complete range of Crédit Agricole CIB's sustainable finance offerings while tracking and managing this commercialization;

- Structuring and executing the mandates generated, in collaboration with the relevant Business Lines;

Building close connections with various market stakeholders (e.g., ESG rating agencies, investors, other banking institutions, etc.);

Maintaining a high level of expertise and knowledge in the sustainable finance sector to ensure Crédit Agricole CIB remains a leading player in the market;

Fostering effective and reliable working relationships with Crédit Agricole's Business Lines and other members of the Environmental Finance team, both domestically and internationally;

Handling additional tasks essential for the successful development and management of the Environmental Finance activities in Iberia;

Preparing client discussion materials: creating commercial presentations (pitches), benchmarks, gathering and synthesizing extra-financial and climate data, analyzing projects eligible for Green, Social, or Sustainability Loans/Bonds, evaluating Key Performance Indicators and Sustainability Performance Targets for Sustainability-Linked instruments, and analyzing sector trends.

- Contributing to the execution of advisory or structuring sustainable finance mandates: drafting a Green/Sustainability Financing Framework, overseeing the development of a Second Party Opinion, preparing an Investor/Lender Presentation or an impact report, etc.

Engaging in the analysis of key developments: methodologies of ESG Agencies, climate scenario development, trends in the Green, Social, Sustainability & Sustainability-Linked Bonds market, as well as the Green and Sustainability-Linked Loans market: monitoring and analyzing recent emissions, updating databases, and tracking news related to the ecological transition.

Eligibility Criteria for VIE:

Must be under 28 years of age

Must hold a Master's Degree

Must be an EU citizen (excluding Spanish)

You are a postgraduate with a Master's Degree from a Business School or University specializing in Sustainability, Banking, or Finance.

A prior experience in Sustainable Banking or within a Corporate and Investment bank is required.
