Join the Sustainable Finance Division at Crédit Agricole CIB, where you will collaborate with a team of experts dedicated to addressing social and environmental finance challenges. This division supports various business units and the Coverage Department in the initiation and execution of sustainable finance projects, which include advisory on ESG ratings, issuance of green and social bonds, sustainability-linked financial products, and impact investments. You will work closely with the Iberia Sustainable Finance Originator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with diverse Business Units and senior client bankers to identify and create business prospects;
- Develop customized solutions and present the comprehensive sustainable finance offerings of Crédit Agricole CIB, ensuring effective follow-up and monitoring of these initiatives;
- Structure and implement the projects initiated, in collaboration with relevant Business Units;
- Establish close connections with various market stakeholders (e.g., ESG rating agencies, investors, other financial institutions, etc.);
- Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge regarding the sustainable finance landscape, ensuring Crédit Agricole CIB remains a leading player in the sector;
- Foster effective and reliable working relationships with Crédit Agricole's Business Units and fellow members of the Sustainable Finance Division, both domestically and internationally;
- Undertake additional tasks essential for the successful development of Sustainable Finance activities in Iberia;
- Prepare client engagement materials: create commercial presentations (pitches), benchmarks, gather and synthesize non-financial and climate-related data, assess projects eligible for Green, Social, or Sustainability Loans/Bonds, evaluate Key Performance Indicators and Sustainability Performance Targets for Sustainability-Linked instruments, and analyze sector trends;
- Contribute to the execution of advisory services or the structuring of sustainable finance projects: drafting a Green/Sustainability Financing Framework, overseeing the development of a Second Party Opinion, preparing an Investor/Lender Presentation or an impact report, etc.;
- Engage in the analysis of significant developments: methodologies of ESG Agencies, climate scenario development, trends in the Green, Social, Sustainability & Sustainability-Linked Bonds market, as well as the Green and Sustainability-Linked Loans market: monitoring and analyzing recent issuances, updating databases, and tracking news related to the ecological transition.
Eligibility Criteria for VIE:
- Must be under 28 years of age
- Must hold a Master’s Degree
- Must be a citizen of the EU (excluding Spanish nationals)
