About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Hologic, Inc. in Spain. As a key member of our Diagnostics division, you will be responsible for strategically managing existing business and acquiring new accounts to drive growth and expansion of our Hologic Cytology and Molecular business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify Revenue Growth Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including the acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing customer relationships.
  2. Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the region.
  3. Manage Existing Accounts: Manage and maintain existing business relationships, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Develop and Execute Business Plans: Develop and execute business plans for targeted accounts, utilizing Hologic's key account management tools and processes.
  5. Represent Hologic at Industry Events: Represent Hologic at local, national, and international industry events, promoting our products and services to customers and stakeholders.
  6. Stay Up-to-Date with Market Trends: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role, preferably with working knowledge of Diagnostics products.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and customers based in the region.
  3. Communication Skills: Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  4. Procurement Experience: Experience managing complex procurement processes and tender management.
  5. Client-Focused Solutions: Proven ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  6. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  7. Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and fluency in Spanish.
  8. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including ability to utilize Hologic business applications, basic Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
  9. Travel Requirements: Full driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
