About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Development Manager to join our team at Syneos Health. As a key member of our Corporate department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multi-channel sales strategies to identify and engage with new business opportunities and nurture existing relationships.
  • Analyze complex account and industry activity to develop plans for a portfolio of accounts and drive engagement.
  • Initiate and manage effective relationships with active and prospect clients to determine near and future clinical development needs.
  • Maintain effective and meaningful relationships with developed leads and participate in the development and implementation of engagement and targeted activity planning.
  • Deliver the Company's messaging on differentiators and advance sales and engagement discussions through a thorough understanding of the client's challenges and alignment to Company strengths.
  • Document and monitor progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and leverage internal and external data and technology to conduct research and monitor factors within accounts.
  • Establish and maintain an internal network for business needs and validate internally in Company and coordinate smooth transfer of Account Development clients to Business Development.
  • Participate in Business Development processes and meetings to ensure consistency and alignment to Business Development activity and generate and analyze reports to manage Account Development metrics and KPIs.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in a biological science, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of Inside Sales experience, Lead Generation, Customer Relationship development and management, predominantly via phone.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential (German is a plus).
  • May have working knowledge of clinical development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail.
  • CRM skills in managing a customer relationship database beneficial.
  • Effective written interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct research using various online resources.
  • Sales disposition and inquisitive problem-solving skills relating to diligently qualifying and researching clients.
  • Above average attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate persistence and achievement in hitting targets.
