Job Summary

Ontex, a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions, is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager Retail to manage the strategic development of the Benelux region in the Retail channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a well-defined strategy for key customers within the BeNeLux region, including international buying groups.
  • Develop, implement, and follow up key account plans within the overall strategy for the business unit and group.
  • Analyze sales and market data to develop new business opportunities, supported by category and product managers.
  • Manage market intelligence through regular store visits and communicate findings internally.
  • Meet customers regularly, prepare materials for customer meetings, and communicate next steps and actions in a structured and effective way.
  • Manage commercial negotiations, sales development, and customer interaction to deliver sales and margin targets.
  • Align forecasting and forecast accuracy with demand managers.
  • Conceive and implement range changes and merchandising based on best practices at minimum cost impact.
  • Maximize return on promotional activity and measure the effectiveness of all promotion investments.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Sales or Sales and Marketing.
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience dealing with customers at all levels of an organization.
  • Background in FMCG or private label market experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
  • Knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiator with advanced Excel skills.
  • Hands-on attitude, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
