About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Avanade. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing high-potential transformation deals, leading and running entire sales cycles, and driving new and incremental revenue through prospecting, acquiring, and developing new business with direct clients in your area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue high-potential transformation deals
  • Lead and run entire sales cycles
  • Drive new and incremental revenue through prospecting, acquiring, and developing new business
  • Work closely with partners to drive new business
  • Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts
  • Interact with Avanade's new and current clients, gain referrals, and form strong trust relationships

Requirements
  • Experience selling Biz Apps, preferably enterprise scale consulting engagements
  • Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow their book of business
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing client business needs
  • Driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships
  • Ability to anticipate and neutralize obstacles and objections
