About the Role

Xylem is a leading water technology company with a global presence, dedicated to addressing the world's most critical water challenges. We are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Specialist to join our team in the Mediterranean region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the Mediterranean region, identifying opportunities to improve and maximize market share.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to the sales workforce, promoting trust and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Business Development: Identify and propose business opportunities that align with Xylem's company strategy, working closely with Area Service Managers to drive growth.
  4. Technical Audits and Reporting: Conduct technical audits, generate reports, and propose energy improvements to clients, ensuring compliance with Xylem's standards.
  5. New Business Generation: Drive new business opportunities through spare parts sales, equipment repairs, maintenance contracts, and installation execution.
  6. Installed Base Management: Oversee Xylem's installed base in the Mediterranean region, ensuring competence and control.
  7. Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as required by the manager, based on business needs.
Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical or sales positions, preferably in AfterMarket & Service technical roles supporting the Sales workforce.
  2. Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Water Sector and After Sales framework.
  3. Education: Electronic Engineering degree or similar; FPII with extensive experience may be valid.
  4. Language: Medium level of English.
  5. Skills: Commercial skills, strong client orientation, and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  6. Additional Requirements: Experience in industrial maintenance and/or the water sector, valuable experience in maintenance execution and technical assistance in client installations, technical knowledge in electrical panels, variators, PLCs, instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics, driving license B1.
