About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven, networked, organized, and communicative individual with strong business development experience in the digital or mobile advertising industry to occupy the Business Development Manager, Publisher Sales role. This person will be responsible and accountable for sourcing and onboarding new Publishers to Smaato's omni-channel ad exchange. This position will be based in Spain as a remote model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline of new customers with a focus on Mobile App, Web, and CTV based on existing relationships in the market.
  • Lead external facing calls and meetings with new/prospective clients.
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to compile client-facing decks and prep for pitches.
  • Convert prospects into signed clients.
  • Work closely with the account management team ensuring the onboarding process is smooth and meets our client's expectations.
  • Develop strategies to engage new Publishers.
  • Align business opportunities to establish strong and long-term partnerships.
  • Build relationships with potential clients, and negotiate deals to generate revenue.
  • Understand the market and competition to develop business strategies that are effective in generating revenue.
  • Client management in maximizing the Publisher's available inventory and their daily delivery needs.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to the executive team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience in AdTech required, ideally on the Publisher side.
  • An existing network of Publishers in the EMEA region.
  • Experience in executing/managing technical integrations (VAST, o.RTB, Prebid, SDK, etc).
