**About the Role**
At Air Products, our mission is to drive innovation and sustainability in the industrial gas industry. We're seeking a highly skilled European Procurement Manager to join our team and contribute to our success.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead commercial and contractual engagements with suppliers to ensure best value and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and project manage regional category strategies, aligning global, regional, and local procurement initiatives.
- Drive simplicity and sustainability in procurement across the European Customer Engineering business.
**What You'll Achieve**
- Lead the development, negotiation, implementation, and sustainment of customer engineering supply strategies consistent with business objectives.
- Develop and implement regional category strategies for specific category groups.
- Inform and support the deployment of enterprise strategies as they apply to supplier management and relevant supplier partners.
- Lead standardization across the region, consistent with regional/global practices, related to execution of global supply agreements, procurement process simplification, and development of best practices to achieve operational excellence.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other suitable discipline.
- CIPS qualification or equivalent beneficial.
- Direct and MRO procurement experience essential.
- Understanding of sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of SAP, eSourcing tools, and analytical skills required.
