**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Lead commercial and contractual engagements with suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
- Develop and project manage regional category strategies and align global, regional, and local procurement initiatives.
- Drive simplicity and sustainability in procurement across the European Customer Engineering business.
**Key Performance Indicators**
- Lead the process to develop, negotiate, implement, and sustain customer engineering supply strategies consistent with business objectives.
- Lead the regional category strategy development process for a specific category group.
- Inform and support the deployment of enterprise strategies as they apply to supplier management, or relevant supplier partners.
- Lead standardization across the region, consistent with regional/global practices, related to execution of global supply agreements, procurement process simplification, and development of best practices to achieve operational excellence.
**Requirements**
- BA in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other suitable discipline.
- CIPS qualification or equivalent beneficial.
- Direct and MRO procurement experience essential.
- Understanding of sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of SAP, eSourcing tools, and analytical skills required.
