Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digitalization Expert for Export Control and Customs to join our team at Siemens. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the digitalization of export control and customs processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing business-specific IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end export control and customs processes, leveraging digitalization to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with governance departments, business entities, and regions across the globe to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of export control and customs regulations, as well as neighboring areas such as logistics and finance.
  • Apply analytical thinking and design skills to create current and future-proof solutions, utilizing data models and data sources relevant to tax, customs, and export control.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project and service management, ensuring agile methodologies and customer-centric approaches.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, computer science, or physics.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end export control and customs processes, with a solid background in neighboring areas.
  • Excellent process and data flow knowledge, with a strong understanding of underlying data models and data sources.
  • Fluent English skills, with German proficiency a plus.
