Your Role and Vision: Become the reliable partner for Siemens' customs and export control division in Germany, focusing on IT solutions, services, and platforms tailored to these domains. Mission: Deliver business-critical IT solutions and services that enhance customs and export control operations by overseeing relevant projects and services. A primary goal is to expedite the digital transformation of customs and export control workflows through an end-to-end optimization strategy that generates substantial value for the organization. Key Responsibilities: As a Digitalization Expert in IT for Customs and Export Control, you will oversee the services, projects, solutions, and platforms offered, while also developing the associated portfolio in this field. Your role will involve advancing the digitalization of customs and export control processes, aiming for comprehensive process optimization. You will actively contribute to the SHERPA X initiative, which focuses on harmonizing all end-to-end processes within Siemens, utilizing the new SAP S/4HANA environment. You will manage the design and IT implementation of customs and export control processes using SAP GTS. Serve as a primary contact and trusted advisor for governance departments in Germany concerning customs and export control, as well as for business units and regions worldwide. Utilize Your Expertise to Propel Progress. A degree in computer science or business administration is required. Extensive experience in IT project and service management, with a focus on agile methodologies. A strong background and several years of experience in end-to-end customs and export control processes utilizing SAP GTS. Familiarity with adjacent fields such as logistics, supply chain management, taxation, and finance, including relevant processes (L2C, R2R, P2P). Comprehensive understanding of process and data flows, including knowledge of data models and sources pertinent to customs and export control (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA modules FI, SD, MM, SAP MDG, SAP EWM, SAP TMS). Proficient analytical skills and the ability to design current and future-proof analytical solutions in line with SHERPA X. A solid foundation in digitalization, including automation and data utilization. Proven experience in requirements engineering, IT solution design, and implementation, coupled with a strong customer-centric approach. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
