Commercial Finance Manager

Eurovision Services is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business and senior leadership team in decision-making activities, providing analysis and recommendations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Report to the Group Commercial Finance Director and support the business and senior leadership team in decision-making activities.
- Provide analysis and recommendations, including pre and post-evaluations of projects and investments.
- Collaborate with our sales and operations teams to ensure that our business is appropriately commercialized and that we remain both profitable and competitive.
- Ensure that our tools and processes used to measure performance across the group are effective, insightful, and that teams have clear targets and are held accountable.
- Take ownership and control of the Group P&L from revenue down to EBITDA.
- Understand and provide clear explanations for variances versus budget/forecast.
- Enhance the quality, completeness, and accuracy of financial and non-financial information provided to internal and external parties.
- Execute month-end tasks and preparation of investor presentations.
- Review and analyze group and subsidiary financial data, balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, reconciliations, and prepare commentary and recommendations.
- Assist with the budget and reforecast process and maintain/build financial forecast models and network consumption planning model.
- Define adequate KPIs, identify business opportunities, and drive sales/EBITDA performance.
- Design Power BI reports, Excel templates, financial dashboards, and implement weekly/monthly reporting processes.
- Develop business cases, post-evaluation analysis, scenarios, models, and projections to provide specific insights and support value-driven strategic decisions.
- 8+ years of professional experience in a comparable position.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (notably Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to interact with ease, confidence, and credibility at all levels within and outside the company.
- The ability to adapt to changing demands and conditions.
- Highly analytical and able to condense large data sets into a story and provide recommendations.
- High IT affinity - experience working with multiple business tools.
- Entrepreneurial/Start-Up mindset to challenge, create, and improve.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Professional level of English is mandatory.
- Additional experience in the following areas would be a bonus:
- Big 4/Consulting/Financial Due Diligence experience will be considered a plus.
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Experience working for private equity-backed businesses.
- Experience or knowledge in the broadcast/Pay TV/OTT industry.
- Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed and international teams.
