Commercial Finance Business Analyst

At Iqvia Argentina, we're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our commercial finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IQVIA product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze pipeline data in coordination with local and regional sales and commercial teams to ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of assigned offerings, including revenue recognition, project performance, and unbilled/unearned positions.
  • Prepare and review monthly reporting requirements for assigned offerings, including unsigned contract opportunities, backlog, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Manage project journal entries, write-offs, and financial adjustments, ensuring proper documentation, review, and approval.
  • Support the sales and commercial teams with pass-through and non-pass-through cost processes.
  • Review and provide variance analysis to management P/L for assigned offerings.
  • Manage monthly forecast and budget plan for management P/L and assigned offerings.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires 1-3 years' business controlling or project finance experience.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition, variance analysis, unbilled/unearned, and cash flow management, and forecasting.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications; knowledge of Hyperion and SAP is a plus.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and proactivity.
  • Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) to a strong business standard; fluency in German (written and spoken) is a plus.
