About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing strategic planning and guidance.
  • Lead capital raise processes and M&A deals, developing and coordinating relationships with lending/financial institutions.
  • Represent the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors, and officials.
  • Oversee the team of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax team.
  • Manage insurance coverage for the organization, ensuring compliance.
  • Optimize tax and legal global structure, managing cash flow.
  • Select and engage consultants, auditors, and other providers.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a CFO/VP Finance/Head of Finance.
  • 10+ years total accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience in building processes and managing teams over 5 people.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Masters Degree, MBA, or CFA.
  • Experience in M&A or investment banking is a plus.
  • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP and IFRS reporting.
  • Experience coordinating with I.T. staff to manage, implement, and/or upgrade the accounting system.
  • Systems implementation experience is strongly preferred.
