About this opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Support the People Development Team to deliver the people development strategy, contributing to the overall delivery of Gleeds' people strategy by enhancing knowledge, skills, and engagement.
- Coordinate the end-to-end organization of training events, including scheduling, ongoing communication with delegates, attendance, and evaluations.
- Provide general People Development Team administration, including managing training records, responding to training and apprenticeship queries, Learning Management Systems administration, and processing invoices.
- Prepare information and statistics for reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage the People Development Team communication plan, ensuring effective internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Support the maintenance of the People Development intranet pages, ensuring up-to-date and relevant content.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships and open communication.
- Contribute to project teams to support the delivery of People Development Team and People Team projects, leveraging expertise and resources.
- Develop and maintain People Development Team resources to support development programs and initiatives, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
- Monitor and continually improve systems and processes associated with the coordination and administration of People Development activities, ensuring efficiency and quality.
About the Candidate
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in HR or Learning and Development, possessing excellent IT skills and the ability to manage varied workloads and deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience working in an HR or Learning and Development environment.
- Experience in managing and/or using Learning Management Systems.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage varied workloads and keep to deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both virtually and face-to-face, fostering collaborative relationships and open communication.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work consultatively and effectively with various stakeholders.
- Solution-oriented problem-solving, with a customer-focused approach and analytical mindset.
- Drive for results, with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Professional level of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Qualifications: University degree.
