As a Grid Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing detailed technical solutions that align with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop models for inverters and Power Plant Controllers using various software tools (PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, Matlab, etc.) tailored for photovoltaic and battery storage sectors.

• Ensure compliance of inverter and Power Plant Controller models with market-specific regulations, including those in Australia, Europe, and the US.

• Monitor grid codes to identify emerging requirements that could lead to new developments.

• Conduct grid integration studies for PV and BESS projects to verify proper sizing and adherence to grid codes.

• Correlate inverter models with testbench and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) measurement outcomes.

• Generate technical documentation analyzing grid code compliance for Gamesa Electric inverters and Power Plant Controllers.

• Assist in the parametrization of Power Plant Controllers for PV and BESS installations.

• Provide pre-sales support regarding PV and BESS plant sizing and address technical inquiries from clients.

• Collaborate with customers during the sales process.

• Offer after-sales support related to models, grid code compliance, and operational parameters.

Qualifications:

We seek individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and understand the significance of driving change. The ideal candidate will possess:


• In-depth knowledge of electrical grids and compliance with grid codes.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in grid integration within the renewable energy sector.

• Proficiency in analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues in complex systems.

• Fluency in both Spanish and English.

• Expertise in at least one of the following software tools: PSS/E, PSCAD, or PowerFactory.

• A methodical and practical approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.

• Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
