About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities for Kardex.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Kardex systems and solutions
- Complete jobs in a timely manner according to set quality standards
- Provide customer training on equipment operation, health and safety, and maintenance procedures
- Generate leads and opportunities for equipment sales and service
- Manage administrative tasks, including reporting, spare parts inventory, and customer feedback
- Offer remote diagnostics and troubleshooting services via phone or remote connection
- Provide on-call service to customers and respond to equipment-related issues
- Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC and software issues
- Advise customers on Kardex products and services and promote a positive image of the company
- Ensure adherence to local health and safety regulations and contribute to a positive and enthusiastic team environment
Requirements
- Good general standard of education
- Mechanic, electronic, or electrical degree or training
- CompTIA A+ or similar experience
- Experience in field customer service and diagnostic methods
- Basic computer skills and technical/mechanical/electronic experience
- Experience with interfacing and integrating mechatronic machines into software systems
- Experience in industrial communication and onsite health and safety
- Excellent communication and customer-oriented skills
- Confident, strong assertive team player with good interpersonal skills
- Ambitious and looking for growth with a willingness to travel
- English language CEFR Level B1 (intermediate), senior Level B2 (upper intermediate)
- Local language proficiency and mechanic/electronic training
- Familiar with diagnostic methods and basic computer skills
- PLC troubleshooting and electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills
- Basic software programming knowledge and logistics knowledge/experience
- Ability to work at heights and willingness to travel
- Car license
