Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Grid Code compliance strategies to ensure our wind farms meet international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and evaluate Grid Code requirements and standards.
- Design and implement test plans to ensure Grid Code compliance and quality assurance on wind farm, wind turbine, and component levels.
- Perform and evaluate Grid Code compliance tests, and analyze test data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance and optimize processes within the Grid Code compliance team.
- Communicate Grid Code requirements and standards to stakeholders, including utilities and customers.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Nordex products and their compliance with Grid Codes.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Systems or similar.
- Experience with Grid Code requirements and test case definition.
- Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance at power plant level and software to achieve this.
- Ideal experience with OEM wind turbines or similar.
- Experience in programming with Python or similar for test analysis and automation.
- Self-responsible, structured, customer-oriented, and solution-minded.
- Cross-cultural understanding, with a collaborative approach across functions and geographies.
- Fluent spoken and written English; Spanish and/or German would be an asset.
- Good communication skills.
- Proactive, assertive, and a team player.
