About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our People team at Back Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the compensation internationally, driving and implementing an innovative compensation strategy, and deploying and managing the yearly compensation review process worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the compensation internationally, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and equity.
  • Develop and implement an innovative compensation strategy that aligns with our company's mission and values.
  • Deploy and manage the yearly compensation review process worldwide, including process automation and optimization.
  • Manage bonus payouts and equity attributions, tools, and exercising processes.
  • Co-create our first BSI/Individual Compensation and Benefits supporting documents.
  • Guarantee internal equity and competitiveness by updating and maintaining our compensation ranges.
  • Support our People partners on compensation questions and our Talent Acquisition team on offer definitions.
  • Participate in salary surveys and provide business benchmarks when needed.
  • Participate in global projects such as benefits setup, budget definition, forecast, and ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Compensation (at least 3 years) and in-depth knowledge of CB practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing and international environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complicated concepts seem simple.
  • Fun and enthusiastic, excited about being a core member of a rockstar team.
