The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's platforms and systems.

You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard our systems and data. Your expertise will be essential in protecting our company's assets and maintaining the trust of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the security and integrity of our company's platforms and systems.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor infrastructure for security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
  • Manage access control and identity management.
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, security audits, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide security training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.

Requirements

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience working with software as a service platforms.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading security configuration, monitoring, and mitigation.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with AWS, Networking, VPNs, Containerization Services, Relational DBs, and Certificates.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS setup, patching, and maintenance skills.
  • Solid understanding of networking.
