Your Role
As our new Bid Manager, you will be instrumental in managing project-specific bidding processes from start to finish, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, client-focused proposals. You will work closely with Project Managers and tender teams to craft and implement successful proposals, utilizing your commercial and technical knowledge to support account management and regional business activities. Your efforts will also enhance effective collaboration among teams within the wind division.
Key Responsibilities
As part of a diverse project team, you will engage in various local and international wind projects and undertake a wide array of tasks, including:
- Leading the complete bid process proactively, coordinating the efforts of Ramboll's global engineering and advisory teams in the wind sector to ensure the submission of high-quality, tailored proposals.
- Assisting in the development of a bid strategy by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, crafting compelling value propositions, and guiding tender teams in planning and developing proposals that align with established strategies.
- Planning, preparing, and compiling persuasive, well-structured proposals and bid documents.
- Utilizing and managing Ramboll's internal tools and processes (e.g., CRM, project excellence, decision gates) to efficiently track and develop opportunities, streamline communication within project teams, and consolidate necessary inputs from relevant departments.
- Improving our sales processes, tools, templates, and standard content to enhance efficiency and incorporate industry best practices.
Your Team
You will be part of our international Business Intelligence & Sales function, which supports Ramboll's global wind division with client and market insights across various regions and oversees its bid management and sales processes. You will coordinate, guide, and support cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with client and Ramboll Group requirements and guidelines.
About You

- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Business Communication, Engineering) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in proposal or bid management, preferably within the energy sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level expected).
- A collaborative team player with strong project management abilities who can work independently.
- A customer-centric mindset along with a solution-oriented and organized approach.
- Familiarity with public/private procurement processes and commercial, contractual, and execution models.
