About the RoleLa descripción completa del puesto cubre todas las habilidades asociadas, la experiencia previa y cualquier cualificación que se espera que tengan los solicitantes.We are seeking an AI Product / Program Manager to lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI initiatives in Allianz’s large, highly regulated financial‑services environment. The role focuses on ensuring AI solutions are technically sound, enterprise‑ready, compliant, safeguarded, observable, operationally robust, and aligned with risk and regulatory expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the vision, roadmap, and delivery of AI products and automation programs for Allianz’s Operating Entities.Translate regulatory, risk, and business requirements into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.Prioritize and manage backlogs, define MVPs, and lead iterative delivery with engineering, data science, and platform teams.Coordinate complex, multi‑stakeholder delivery in a matrix organization, including change management, training, and adoption plans.Embed compliance, safeguarding, and responsible AI requirements into product design from day one (data protection, explainability, guardrails, audit trails, approvals).Collaborate with legal, compliance, information security, and model risk management to define and implement appropriate controls and governance for AI products in financial services.Ensure all AI solutions meet internal policies and external regulations (e.g., data residency, model risk, record keeping, retention, auditability).Partner with AI platform and engineering teams (Azure, AWS, Databricks) to define reference architectures and reusable building blocks for AI solutions.Shape requirements around observability, monitoring, logging, and MLOps so AI systems are supportable in production.Define product success metrics (adoption, automation rate, risk reduction, operational efficiency, user satisfaction) and track them rigorously.Identify, map, and manage technical, operational, and regulatory risks throughout the lifecycle of AI initiatives.Communicate progress and risk status to senior stakeholders through clear, structured reporting and program governance.Experience & QualificationsSeveral years of experience as a Product Manager, Program Manager, or equivalent delivering digital or data/AI products in a large enterprise.Experience working in financial services or other strongly regulated industries.Proven track record of taking AI/ML or advanced analytics use cases from concept into production and scaling across business units.Technical fluency: familiarity with cloud AI and data platforms, especially Microsoft Azure (AI services, OpenAI, Machine Learning), Azure Databricks, AWS AI/ML services, and Databricks lakehouse concepts.Strong understanding of how regulation, data privacy, and model risk impact AI products in financial services.Experience with governance processes (model risk committees, architecture boards, change approval boards) and translating regulatory requirements into product features.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills at multiple organizational levels.Ability to simplify complex AI topics for non‑technical stakeholders and regulators, with a structured, outcome‑oriented mindset and a bias toward delivery.Soft SkillsExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to simplify complex AI topics for non‑technical stakeholders.Structured, outcome‑oriented mindset with strong ownership and bias toward delivery.Certifications & Learning Paths (Nice to Have)Microsoft/Azure:Azure AI Fundamentals (AI‑900)Azure AI Engineer AssociateCourses on Generative AI engineering with Azure Databricks (RAG, fine‑tuning, LLM integration)Databricks:Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer AssociateFree on‑demand Databricks training in data, AI, and lakehouse fundamentalsAWS:AWS Certified AI PractitionerCourses on AWS AI/ML and Generative AI via AWS Skill Builder or partner trainingBenefitsHybrid work model with up to 25 days per year working from abroad.Performance‑based compensation including company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program, and multiple employee discounts.Career development and digital learning programs, international career mobility, and lifelong learning opportunities.Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (healthcare, parental leave) to balance family and career.About Allianz TechnologyHeadquartered in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz’s global IT service provider.
