Key Responsibilities
and Tasks As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers.
- Be accountable for the KPIs of all the markets in your assigned area, monitoring each market and key accounts, and owning the recovery plan when a market or account is off track. At all times, ensure content, rates and availability across your area is competitive and attractive, and that additional inventory and promotional offers are secured for high-demand periods.
- Translate the account management strategy into quarterly area plans, clarifying priorities, objectives and expectations, as well as reviewing and validating the plans built by your Market Managers and Market Specialists to ensure alignment with the overall area targets.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Market Managers and Market Specialists: Day-to-day coaching and support, regular 1:1s, performance reviews, development plans, hiring and onboarding
- Build senior relationships with the most strategic accounts in your area, and act as an escalation point in complex negotiations. When relevant, attend industry fairs and events to meet strategic partners
- Alongside the other Area Market Managers, support the Head of Account Management on wider business initiatives, leading assigned projects and representing Account Management in internal business reviews. In particular, ensure that market insights are fed back to the rest of the Inventory team.

- Proven experience in account management or sales in the hotel industry(must)with at least 5 years in a commercial role, strong negotiation skills and a track record of developing trusted relationships with key hotel partners, chains or other relevant industry actors. Strong understanding of how hotel partners operate, leverage different distribution channels and make decisions.
- At least one relevant experience managing a commercial team: setting clear and measurable objectives, giving ongoing actionable feedback, and building action plans for both top and low performers.
- Full English proficiency(must), additional European language desired
- Channel Managers knowledge and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce a plus).
- Partner-facing focus: a genuine preference for time spent with hotel partners, personally building and owning senior relationships with chains and groups alongside managing your team.
- Result oriented: proven ability to translate targets into clear, owned objectives for each team member, and to keep the team focused on delivery in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.
- Adaptability and resilience : comfortable with change, shifting priorities and ambiguity, and able to reprioritize quickly when market conditions or business needs evolve.
- Hands-on approach: ready to step directly into a market or an account when performance is at risk or an escalation requires it.
- Collaboration: experience working closely with peers managing other areas, sharing best practices
