- Promote and sell Baumer products within the assigned territory
- Prospect, develop and secure new customers to expand Baumer's market share
- Nurture relationships at existing accounts to maintain and expand our share there
- Perform customer visits
- Follow up on assigned leads
- Collect and document competitive intelligence (pricing, product features, market policies, selling techniques, etc.)
- Coordinate write-up of quotes and/or commercial proposal with insides sales
- Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities also use CRM fpr internal reporting

What I need for it
- 4 years degree (technical degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in outside technical sales or relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of B2B selling, industrial market(s) including factory automation and knowledge of building automation systems
- Willingness to travel domestically (35% +)
- Working knowledge of online sales tools (i.e. Sales Navigator) and social networks (i.e. LinkedIn)
- Working experience in CRM (preferably SAP)
- Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision
- Exceptional customer focus; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted
