The primary responsibilities are to provide pre-sales technical support to Mimecast sales staff, reseller partners and customers. Other responsibilities are to include some involvement in key customer engagements and training of our sales teams. A large majority of the activity will be focused on pre-sales activity. As Mimecast is a rapidly growing and evolving company the role is very flexible and will involve many different and changing aspects, for example: interfacing with product management, participating in marketing events and training sales reps on the product.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering technical product presentations & demonstrations.
- Supporting the sales teams in identifying account expansion opportunities.
- Assisting in identifying renewal risk and collaborate with internal teams to remediate and ensure a successful renewal.
- Assisting with customer success through proactive periodic health checks, product training, and developing and sharing best practices.
- Configuring product installations and customizations for Trials and Proof of Concepts.
- Serving as customer advocate with internal Mimecast stakeholders to ensure needed customer feedback is adequately documented and reviewed by internal parties.
- Researching customers’ technical issues in a timely manner and follow up with recommendations and action plans.
- Maintaining control of the overall resolution for any escalated case, leading cross-functional groups as needed, and escalate to management when appropriate.
- Leveraging internal technical expertise, including development engineers, knowledge base, and other internal tools to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues.
What You’ll Bring:
- Demonstrable experience working with medium to large organizations.
- Experience selling large scale security SaaS and cloud platforms and solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements.
- Self-motivated and excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex scenarios and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- A curious nature with a desire to learn and a competitive spirit.
- Experience working with Threat Intelligence solutions, such as LogRhythm, Splunk, Rapid7, Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
- The ability to fully understand complex architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies.
- Business Fluent in English and Spanish
- Ideally based in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area
- Technical certification (Security+, Networking+, or similar) is a plus.
