In UST, We are looking for a Lead Desktop Support Systems Administrator with more than 4+ years of relevant Experience.We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining systems, ensuring patch deployment, antivirus protection, and overall system security. Your expertise in Windows administration, patch management, and antivirus management will be essential in maintaining a secure and efficient computing environment.

**Main tasks and accountabilities will be**:

- Demonstrate general awareness and knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows Server.
- Possess basic knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and their configuration.
- Manage and deploy patches for Windows 10 and Windows Server systems, ensuring timely updates and maintaining system security.
- Understand antivirus (AV) concepts and best practices and ensure antivirus protection across end points.
- Possess knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD), providing added advantage in managing user identities and access control.
- Utilize tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), Active Directory (AD), and Tanium for group policy management.Manage and maintain end points to ensure patch and antivirus compliance.
- Configure and manage antivirus clients on end points, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
- Update and configure antivirus policies for client end points, ensuring optimal protection and adherence to security policies
- Collaborate with other support teams to resolve malware or antivirus outbreaks, following customer security policies and working with third-party providers if required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with relevant vendors in case of malware or virus attacks, coordinating efforts for resolution.

**What do we expect from you?**
- Solid understanding and experience in Windows administration, including Windows 10 and Windows Server.
- Basic knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and their configuration.Familiarity with patch deployment processes for Windows 10 and Windows Server systems.
- Understanding of antivirus concepts and experience in managing antivirus solutions.Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in using SCCM, Active Directory, and Tanium for group policy management.
- Ability to manage and maintain end points to ensure patch and antivirus compliance.
- Experience in configuring and managing antivirus clients on end points.Familiarity with updating and configuring antivirus policies for client end points.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with support teams for malware or antivirus outbreak resolution.
