Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Desktop Support Engineer -L1 at SharpBrains Company located in Huesca, Spain. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to end users. They will assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.

The role also involves responding to user inquiries, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving desktop hardware and software issues
  • Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and macOS
  • Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Active Directory and user account management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills
  • Basic knowledge of security best practices
  • Any relevant certifications would be beneficial, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
