About the role
As a SEA Lead, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and operations of Paid Search channels in the Southern Europe regions. Collaborating with the Analytics team and with Country teams locally, you will ensure that the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Paid Search channels are met.
Your strategic forecasting of budgets and revenue for each market on a quarterly basis will be crucial to drive the success of our Paid Search campaigns. Additionally, you will make in-quarter recommendations and communicate risks and opportunities for various campaign types managed within the Paid Search team (Search, Shopping, GDN, Microsoft Native, YouTube, UAC & ASA).
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Manage the implementation and operations of Paid Search channels for the Southern Europe regions (Spain, Portugal & Italy) in collaboration with the Analytics team centrally and Country teams locally.
- Forecast quarterly budgets and revenue for each market to optimize Paid Search campaigns' performance and resource allocation.
- Provide in-quarter online marketing investment recommendations, communicating risks and opportunities for various campaign types within the Paid Search team (Search, Shopping, GDN, Microsoft Native, YouTube, UAC & ASA).
- Define, track, and implement success metrics for Search, Shopping, GDN, Microsoft Native, YouTube, and App (UAC & ASA) campaigns to ensure continuous optimization.
- Conduct thorough analyses and initiate discussions with the data team to enable data-driven decisions and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and partners, staying informed about the latest developments and trends in the Paid Search domain.
- Collaborate with the SEA Leadership team to contribute to the strategy and roadmap for Paid Search initiatives.
- Provide valuable insights and advisory support to the global team, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
**Impact and Contributions**:
- Drive the success of Paid Search campaigns by effectively managing implementations and operations, meeting defined KPIs, and optimizing performance for the Southern Europe region
- Ensure accurate and strategic budget forecasting, enabling efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the impact of Paid Search efforts on revenue growth.
- Deliver actionable recommendations and communicate risks and opportunities, enabling agile and data-driven decision-making to enhance campaign outcomes.
- Optimize campaign effectiveness by implementing success metrics, allowing for continuous improvements and enhancing marketing ROI.
- Enable data-driven decisions by conducting in-depth analyses and facilitating discussions with the data team, leading to a robust data structure and informed marketing strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and partners, facilitating seamless collaboration and staying abreast of industry trends to drive innovative strategies.
- Contribute actively to the SEA Leadership team's discussions, shaping the strategic direction and roadmap for Paid Search initiatives, thereby impacting the organization's growth.
- Provide invaluable advisory support to the global team, sharing expertise and insights that contribute to the overall success and growth of the company in the competitive market.
**Experience and Attributes we’d like to see**:
- 5-8 years of experience as an SEA specialist, including experience in a Lead role.
- Experience in a performance-driven environment, preferably in E-Commerce.
- Strong communication skills in the English language.
- Data-driven mindset with a bias for action.
- Proficiency in topics such as automation and data attribution.
- A growth mindset, adaptability to change, and a penchant for seeking learning curve opportunities.
**Nice to Have Experience**:
- Native or fluent German language proficiency. Experience in managing GDN, Microsoft Native, YouTube, and App (UAC & ASA) campaigns.
